Used sparingly, lavender adds depth and sophistication rather than overpowering perfume.
In Middle Eastern and Mediterranean inspired cooking, floral notes are celebrated – think rose, orange blossom and mastic. Lavender sits comfortably among them, adding a gentle aromatic lift to syrups, biscuits, cakes and infused creams.
