A useful cupboard essential for everyday Middle Eastern, Mediterranean and international cooking, Maggi Chicken Stock Cubes make it easy to add depth and savoury flavour to a wide variety of dishes.
Dissolve the cubes in boiling water to prepare a flavoursome chicken stock, or crumble one directly into your cooking. They work particularly well in rice dishes, soups, stews, sauces and slow-cooked recipes, complementing both traditional and contemporary dishes. To prepare approximately one litre of stock, dissolve two cubes in one litre of boiling water. Maggi advises that additional salt should not normally be necessary because the cubes already contain seasoning. Middle Eastern Maggi products containing chicken or meat are produced in accordance with halal requirements. Product Tips Try adding a cube to the cooking water for basmati rice, bulgur wheat or freekeh. For a more balanced flavour, dissolve the cube fully before tasting and adding any extra salt. Chicken and Vermicelli Soup – dissolve the cubes into hot water before adding vermicelli, shredded chicken, vegetables and fresh herbs.
