Bodrum Pomegranate Molasses Syrup is a versatile Turkish condiment with a deep colour and balanced sweet-sour taste. Known in Turkish as nar ekşili sos, it is particularly popular across Turkish, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cooking.
Drizzle it over fattoush, grain salads or roasted vegetables, whisk it into dressings, or combine it with garlic, olive oil and spices to make a flavoursome marinade. Its fruity sharpness works especially well with grilled chicken, lamb kofta and vegetable kebabs, while a small drizzle can also enliven yoghurt, ice cream and fruit-based desserts. Product tip A little goes a long way. Begin with a small amount and add more according to taste.
