Soft, naturally sweet and wonderfully rich, Jana Almadina Sukary Rotab Dates bring a taste of Saudi Arabia to your table. Enjoy their tender texture and caramel-like flavour straight from the pack, with Arabic coffee or as part of a generous sharing platter.
A lovely choice for anyone who enjoys a softer date, Sukary Rotab dates offer a delicate bite and a rich, rounded sweetness. Sukary, also commonly spelt Sukkari, is a much-loved Saudi date variety, while Rotab refers to the soft, ripe stage of the fruit.
Serve them alongside coffee for a welcoming treat, pair with nuts for a satisfying snack, or add to a breakfast bowl with yoghurt and oats. Their soft flesh also makes them useful in the kitchen: remove the stones and blend into smoothies, mash into cake mixtures or chop into porridge for natural sweetness. This 450g pack is ideal for keeping at home or sharing with family and guests. A welcome addition to the Ramadan table for breaking the fast, these dates are equally suited to Eid hospitality and everyday enjoyment. Extra product tips Remove the stones before chopping, blending or filling. For a simple serving idea, split the dates and fill with almond butter or tahini, then finish with chopped pistachios. If refrigerated, allow a small serving to come to room temperature before eating to enjoy the softer texture. Two products to pair with Arabic coffee with cardamom: the aromatic coffee provides a delicious balance to the dates’ natural sweetness. Unsalted almonds: a crisp, gently nutty accompaniment for a snack or sharing platter.(Per 100g)
