6. DELIVERY
6.1 We will always aim to deliver your order within the stated timeframe given to you when placing your order.
6.2 If delivery is attempted and fails due to nobody being present at the delivery address, responsibility for the goods may pass to the customer. In these circumstances Greenfields cannot accept liability for any deterioration of perishable goods.
6.3 Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address entered at checkout is complete and accurate. The address provided is transmitted directly to the DPD shipping system without manual alteration by Greenfields. Greenfields cannot be held responsible for delivery issues, delays, failed deliveries or additional charges arising from incorrect or incomplete address details supplied by the customer.
6.4 If nobody is available at the primary delivery address (nominated by you at the time you place your order) to take delivery of the order, we will leave notification of where the item is available for you to collect from (e.g: neighbour, local depot etc.).
6.5 In the event that nobody is available to take delivery of your order at your primary delivery address or you ask us to leave your goods unattended at a secure place, Greenfields expressly disclaims all liability that may arise in consequence of the delivery being left unattended, including, without limitation, theft, tampering or contamination, however caused.
6.6 If your delivery is refused or not accepted at a recipient’s address, we can not take responsibility for this and cannot offer a free replacement box. Fresh produce cannot be returned to store.
6.7 Delivery will be deemed complete once the courier confirms delivery at the address provided at checkout.
6.8 Events outside our control, for example, extreme weather conditions, may occasionally mean we are unable to deliver your goods at the time agreed. In these circumstances, we will contact you as early as possible to rearrange the delivery time. In such an event, our liability to you shall be limited to the price of the goods ordered and the cost of delivery.
6.9 Greenfields uses third-party courier services, including DPD, to deliver orders. Whilst we take every reasonable step to ensure that orders are packed and dispatched promptly and appropriately for transit, delivery times provided by couriers are estimates and are not guaranteed. Greenfields cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the courier network, including but not limited to weather conditions, operational disruptions, depot routing issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
